Red zone love

It was the Mid summer time. I was posted as Assistant Ranger at Bandhugan, Koraput. My mother was little bit worried due to Maowist activity in that area but i choiced it.Green hills ,narrow road, little mountain stream and afterall those tribal people and culture was a great attraction for me. Many people come near me for their related work. I was also a well behaved ,honest officer. I got famous , sometime they invite me to their festival.
During those days i never felt that this area is red alert zone. Everything was fine. Once a middle age girl came to my office for some permission . She introduced me as reprentative of some village head. Her dressing style was little different to other tribal ladies but i also heard about the educational awareness of tribal girl. After investigating i gave permission. After that days she visited my office regularly. Sometime i felt someone spying over me.
Then i became familar with her.
That day was raining heavily. After rain that valley looked like heaven nd the village under hill look gergeous. She told ‘ if you are free then come with me , i will show you our village. Aw it was a great chance to find a tourist guide like her. She was very talktive girl, with showing told about some story about the place also. She took me some small shop and got a tea in a steel glass. It was awesome in that time. It was going to evnging ,time to say goodbye my first ever friend in Red alert zone. She shaked hand with smile and told you are different not like other. I returned to my quarter. It was a nice feeling to have friend in tribal area.
Later on she didnt come to my office. I was surprised and feel her absence. I didnt know her name and forget the village name which she told me. When i take a walk in the valley ,my eyes always searched for her. Day passed. One day i was reading newspaper in office. It was a mawoist police encounter news. I was shocked. It was her. She was a maowist leader. She was coming to examined me. So why her last word was you are different. I smiled. And my tear said you are also different not like them
